Transformations: Jewel
lery in Transition is an exhibition that brings together three visionary artists—Anna Karsch, Gina Melosi, and Nathalie Flückiger—each pushing the boundaries of jewellery design in their unique ways. This curated showcase explores the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and artistic expression.

Anna Karsch’s modular creations from akjumii highlight the adaptability of fashion, allowing
wearers to embrace change while maintaining an unwavering commitment to fairness and sustainability.

Gina Melosi’s designs fuse ethical sourcing with conceptual artistry, reimagining overlooked
materials and creating gender-neutral pieces that speak to individual identity and environmental responsibility.

Nathalie Flückiger’s work in glass invites a deeper exploration of fragility and strength, using the
fluid, reflective qualities of the material to evoke curiosity and interaction.

Together, these three artists celebrate transformation—not only in the materials they work with
but in the way their pieces engage with the wearer. Transformations: Jewellery in Transition invites visitors to witness how jewellery can be a catalyst for change, both in design and in the broader cultural conversation around sustainability and self-expression. Through their work, Karsch, Melosi, and Flückiger redefine the possibilities of jewellery, offering pieces that are not just adornments, but reflections of a new, conscious era in art and fashion.

Nathalie Flückiger is a Vienna-based jewellery artist specialising in glass. Her work highlights the transformative qualities of glass, capturing its light-reflecting, fluid nature. With a playful approach, she explores the balance between fragility and strength, creating pieces that invite curiosity and interaction.

Gina Melosi
creates ethical, conceptual jewellery, blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative technology. Inspired by broken glass, her work explores themes of transformation, fragility, and abandonment. Using Fairmined metals, lab-grown and ethically sourced stones, she combines high-tech methods with handcraft to create limited-edition and bespoke pieces.

Anna Karsch
is a designer and the founder of the slow fashion brand akjumii. She creates (clothing) pieces that adapt to your life – through a modular system that enables versatility, allowing you to do more with less. In the process, she places the highest value on fairness and sustainability.
