Silke Spitzer was trained as a traditional jeweller and continued her education at the University of Applied Arts and Design in Pforzheim, Germany, where she focused on liberal arts first and finished as a master of Arts and Design in 2002. She has been working as an independent artist ever since. Her work received several awards and can be found in art museums in Germany, Canada and the U.S.A. Silke creates bold, earthbound pieces that combine the vivid impact of city life with the most simple of techniques.
Afra Dopfer born in Starnberg, Germany, studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Prof. Leo Kornbrust and Prof. Cristina Iglesias; Scholarship and residency at the Cité Internationales des Arts, Paris; Bavarian State Promotion Prize and USA scholarship from the Bavarian Ministry of Culture with a stay in Long Island City/NY; She received the Kunstfonds Foundation’s scholarship and catalog scholarship; Since 2015 she has been teaching at the architecture faculty at Munich University of Applied Sciences; She works with different media, mostly related to space and architecture.
